And again. As if it wasn't enough to have gay mayors in the two biggest cities in Germany (Hamburg and Berlin), now they do even take over the smaller towns!

In my city this cadidate is seen as favourite, getting 43% of the votes in forecasts. Maybe there will be a surprise and he gets less than expected.
Well, we survived a Kurdish mayor, we willl survive him also. Anyway, there are "chances" to even get a gay foreign minister here in Germany - then I would like to see the Arab countries or Iran inviting him! :::D

I take it he's been on every pole.

We had something similar here in East Germany. After changing it's sex the thing called Michaela Lindner was taken out of it's position by the local population.
It appeared sometimes on TV calling the population there xenophobic and it moved to Berlin, where it seems to have disappeared since I have never heard of it again. But a transgender in Berlin is as common as a muzzie in Istanbul! :::D
