Title: Who are the Bedouins? The tribe?
Post by: momofsixbabes on September 16, 2009, 03:40:47 PM
I am studying Ancient history with my children. We were reading about various tribes. I am confused as to who the Bedouins tribe is?? Went on youtube to figure it out and read that they are naming their children after Obama, and saving a white horse for him??? Okay, now I am really confused. Are they from the tribe of Dan? But, I don't think that is right...very confused with so many tribes we are learning...

Bedouins is the term used for the nomadic Arabs, or at least those who used to live in tents until the past few decades.

Try infoplease, factmonster, or encyclopedia.com. Wikipedia isn't that good of a source.
