Very sobering assessment of the poor Israeli performance in the second Lebanese War.  I think the overwhelming factor was the lack of desire for a real victory on the part of the Israeli Government.  I also think the conclusions that Israel needs to rely more on the USA is off base.

It's not just the government, the whole nation has been brainwashed into fearing "civilian casualties" above all else.

That's what happens when you replace Torah with Hellenic "values".
