Its really kind of ironic that some of the children believe this is the real man behind the mask, comparable to Michael Myers( Halloween star, and Freddy Kruger.

When the law kept the bridge closed over Lake Pontchartrain they knew what they were doing. When the storm first hit I was home on a two week vacation and actually toyed with the idea of going down to help out. I have been involved in construction and excavation over the years and thought I could be useful running a piece of equipment or something like that clearing roads. By the end of the first day of watching the coverage on TV I was so turned off by watching the looting and other criminal activity being reported I would have kicked myself if I was actually dumb enough to have gone there to help people who would not help themselves. We have had some bad storms here on Long Island over the years and as soon as the storm was over people got out and started setting things to rights. Down there some of them animals are still waiting for the government to wipe their a-s for them all this time later.

Welcome to the U.S., and a lot of the rest of the world, circa 2009. Make no mistake, this is what the government desires and, apparently by the way most people vote, this is what they want as well. If things continue as they are now, and unfortunately I don't see any drastic change in the near term, this is only going to get worse.
