With sadness, I have to report on the passing of Yousef Ben Meyer, who died from a heart attack today. He lived his last years in Israel with his wife edna, and even found the time to join the conservative Women In Green.
We will miss you Gerry
David Ben Moshe

This is sad news. I remember him from the old JTF programs when I first started listening, back when I was in high school. This would have been around 2001. He was British, right? I liked him a lot; I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Baruch dayan haemet.
I don't know who he is since I only found out about JTF in 2007. Are there any videos on the internet of him doing a show with Chaim?

This is a sad day for all of us. Yossef Ben Meir was a hero and one of our greatest spokesmen. He was a man of Jewish values, who dedicated his life to spreading the truth to the world and helping the Jewish people.
May his name and memory be immortalized!
Yossef Ben Meir, we shall love you and cherish you for ever and ever in this movement! (http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn147/Phoenix51200/Smileys/crying.gif)

Listen to any of the "b" programs from 2001-2003 at the JTF Archive (http://www.jtfarchive.org/).

OMG, I'm so sorry. My condolences to his family. I remember the shows he used to do with Chaim, and how he did the Yimach Shmo curse with a British accent. How old was he? Does he have children?

Is the family organizing mishnayos for the shloshim?

I was thinking he was South African?

My condolences goes out to his friends and family.

I can't believe it. I remember searching for old JTF shows and hearing him talk with his British sounding accent, and wonder where David Ben Moshe was.
May his name and memory be immortalized.

OMG, I am so sorry about this, I use to love listening to him with Chaim.. My sympathies to his family. He truely was a great man.

My condolences i loved listening to him with dry sense of humor

I remember seeing him on MNN holding up a picture of a gorilla. He said this is the president of MNN. Then he held up the same picture and said this is C.Virgina Fields [borough president].
Nice guy with British accent.
He will be sorely missed.
-
Who is Gerry? His nick name?_

Sad news, my condolences to Yoseph's family and loved ones.

The expression R.I.P. isn't a Jewish one. Just letting people know. You can say Olav Hashalom.

Who or what is Gerry?

Who or what is Gerry?
I imagine that was the English name of the man that passed away.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Yosef Ben Meir and everyone close to him. I have had the pleasure of listening to many of the programs that Yosef did with either Chaim or David on the JTF Archives ( Thanks WestCoastJTF ). Yosef provided excellent leadership and common sense. Yosef was a wise man.
There's no question that Yosef has been a substantial factor in JTF's growth and continuing growth. I look forward to listening to many more of the programs that Yosef did. He's someone who will definitely continue to make a positive difference for JTF, even though he's no longer here in the physical sense.

This is so awful. :'( :'( :'( Why do the good people always die and the whores and demons of the world like Nellie the Weasel, Jimmy Carter, and Nelson Mandela live to be obscenely old and in perfect health? >:( >:( >:(
