Title: If we ignore Ron Paul, will he go away?

If we ignore Ron Paul, will he go away?
After all, he's a nothing who ran for president and got about three votes from two cave-men.

I actually agree with you on this.   He is on his way to becoming a fossil.

But, I think it is very important that others in the GOP, such as Huckabee, have similar fiscal views, as these will be the defining issues in 2012.  If they dont, then Paul will remain somewhat popular.... .especially as an antithesis to Obama.

One thing I don't like about him is that he doesn't debate really well.  In that one debate where he said we should bring the troops which is something I agree with and he couldn't seem to explain why and he really got pawned by it by John McPaine  and rude Guliani.

The groupies will probably never let him go, but he'll always get about 1% of the vote or less.

I saw that debate, and he looked completely confused. Honestly, I think he has early dementia (No offense to those who are truly suffering from this).  I think his ship has sailed, BUT!!! The GOP must not give him ammunition.  The GOP needs to abandon fiscal liberalism.... or the party has no future.

What way of "going away" are you reffering to?

Well, 1% of the vote didn't completely remove him. What if he got less than that? Maybe he'll just give up and go away. Maybe he'll stop running for president. Maybe he'll stop running for any office. Maybe we could just ignore him until he returns to the private sector.

I see. Thought you're meaning making him physically disappear.
