George Habash, one of the most vicious and virulent Jew killing terrorists was a Christian. Not sure what it is about Christian Arabs that makes them hate Jews more than the Muslims who are kicking them out of the Mid East. Perhaps it is the traditional anti Semitism of Christians like Luther or the Catholic Church of the Middle Ages. I always found it unbelievable when I had to read the Canterbury Tales and each of the parties had to tell stories and the Nun tells the Blood Libel tale. Just amazing.
Although this type of thing more than anything else keeps me believing in G-d and the exceptionalism of the Jewish people. I cannot explain it through any rational worldly manner.
No, there are very conservative Presbyterians (or "Reformed") Christians who are anti-Israel but shill for Muslims. I have met both Presbyterians and Lutherans like this in my line of work. Then they are self-hating Christians, plain and simple.
(or "Reformed") ChristiansI didn't notice this, Dan, at first.
Reformed believe in Calvinist theology (although there are going to be some variations) and they agree with Presbyterians on the anti-Israel issue apparently.I haven't seen that; all the Calvinists I have known are Zionists, and in fact when they ran a Calvinist state in Geneva, I recall that they were very tolerant of Jews.
