Title: If we are having another 6 weeks of winter, how come I have flowers growing ???

I saw them the other day, tiny little flowers, dont know the name...pretty tho, Ill take a pic.

Some plants retain a strong sense of timing, which is why lots of flowers originating in South Africa still flower at Xmas time in the  N. Hemisphere. Others just go on temperature, perhaps like your little flowers. Others, like lots of trees, go on daylength, which stops then getting tricked by warm snaps, but isn't so good if they are next to a street lamp. Welcome back to being Hanna.
