This is what I think of when I see that "so called Karate film"

They ruined a classic.

Karate Kid 1 is one of the best movies I ever saw.
Those pigs don't even know that Kung Fu is not 'Karate'. Pathetic.

They killed a classic! >:(

Now that I'm grown up I see that original movie in a different way. It was about the wise, wise, nonwhite and the stupid [censored] white that needed to learn something. That seems to be a common theme in movies. >:(

:'( Looks like a stinker.
I used to live in Reseda, California, which is where the Karate Kid took place.

Promos move rather quickly, so I'm having to make assumptions about plot-lines. With that said, two thoughts:
1) About the bit where a Chinese boy tosses young Mr. Cornrow for eyeing his native girl, I have no problem with that. China's one-child policy has produced a serious shortage of young women. In fact, weak white American boys could learn something about preserving what's rightly theirs.
2) If this is a metaphor about the future of America, where we must rely on young wannabe rap stars to reach a stalemate against an increasingly aggressive China, then we all better learn Mandarin.

That picture is begging to be photoshopped.
