The idea of this topic is for people to talk about whatever is on there mind at the moment, and whatever they're doing at the moment, for instance, how has your day been? What are you doing right now?
Right now I'm listening to: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fwN5jbeIbBw (nice tune even if I don't quite agree with the lyrics) and attempting to write my long promissed article about what Islam says about other religions. I'm also slightly nervous about my upcoming exams.

Studying for exams. >:(
But for a change of pace I managed to register on JTF's Hebrew Forum. It's incredible, Chaim ben Pesach is an ACTIVE poster there (over 700 posts!). He has great debates with people there and it's just gold. No wonder their forum already has over 400 ppl. The guys there seem very nice, all gave me a warm welcome even though I was posting in English.

I don't even know the hebrew alphabet, let alone any hebrew words, so I wouldn't be able to understand anyting if I joined the hebrew forum. I don't therefore see any point.

I'm feeling really good today. :D I've just finished preparing dinner for my family and will finish cleaning our carpet with our Rug Doctor. If no one here has it, you should get it because it actually works...the cleaning solutions it comes with are awesome!
When I'm done, I'll pick up my 16 year old from softball practice and attend my Academic Strategies class. I'm really proud of the "B" I've earned in that class; as well as the "A" I'm earning in my Child Development class. :D :D :D
Later on I plan to spend some quality time with my family, teaching my girls how to jump double-dutch is a lot of fun. AND I'll be happy once my husband comes home. :D I love him half to death and appreciate him so much for what he does for us on a daily basis.
Sorry this turned out to be bloggy. :D

At least you don't have that "Milli Vanilli" song "Blame It On The Rain" song stuck in your head because your co-worker thought it would be funny to play it in a phone message on your phone. LOL
I mean... Milli Vanilli?? That's brutal... mean even.

I signed up on the hebrew forum and managed to activate my account. My progress faltered after that point.

Hey, what happened to your sis Hajar?

I'm not a teacher yet, that's why I'm attending school now. In 4 years I will be. :)

So what happened with the education you had as a child?

So what happened with the education you had as a child?
Can you ellaborate on the question, Sarah?
-
I'm boosting up this thread for Sarah to answer a question.
Sarah, I'm not sure what you were asking me in your last response. Could you ellaborate?

From what i've heard so far you seem to be a mother of more then one child with one of your children being 16 years old. Even If you had that child at an age of 25 you would definitly be over 35 or middleaged?
You're studing child development and want to become a teacher quite later on in your life and are having to do further education to become one. So, what happened to your childhood education, at secondary? Or even Uni? Did it all go to waste or didn't it comply with your "ambitions"?
Or maybe thats how it works in America?

First of all, my 15 and 16 year old daughters are my stepdaughters. My husband was 17 when they were concieved. I didn't have my first biological child until I was 21 and my husband an I were married. My oldest child is soon to be 12 which would make me 33 years old.
Second, I'm not old by a long shot. By the time I've recieved my Associate of Science in Education Paraprofessional and Bachelor's in Education (I'll be an Elementary English teacher), I'll be 37.
I didn't waste my life at all. After I graduated high school and attended college the first year I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. While in my confusion, I found that I couldn't afford to keep going to college so I dropped out and started working. 2 years later, I'd get married, start a family, travel the world with my husband and girls, attend other colleges and finally I'm at a point where I know what to do professionally. :)
So as far as what happend to my 'childhood education @ secondary or University', I graduated from elementary school when I was supposed to (1988) and I graduated high school when I was supposed to (1992).
I am the mother of 5 girls; 3 being my biological children and two being my stepdaughters. I'm proud of them, my husband for being man enough to take care of them all their lives, and myself for being a good mom and role model for them to never give up on education.
