Gen. Petraeus already has suffered from prostate cancer, and now collapses during a Senate hearing. The official story is that he was suffering from dehydration from his long distance running routine.

It doesn't seems like he lost consciousness. Perhaps he took a nap and his head fell ?

Didn't know about the prostate cancer, dehydration can occur from Chemo or some treatments too!

"Dehydration" also can occur when after years of testifying that you can win Iraq and Afghanistan with billions of more dollars and thousands of more American lives, you suddenly find yourself under fire on Capitol Hill being grilled on why you now claim that the Taliban has for all practical intent defeated the United States in Afghanistan!
Nothing like a little "collapse" to ensure the hearings are disrupted and that your reputation and career are again safe.
I fully expect to hear next that "The General" was suddenly recalled back to Afghanistan to deal with "new developments brought on by an increase in Taliban terror", and therefore couldn't finish his testimony as was previously scheduled.
Don't forget! -- This is the man who just this year testified that "American support for Israel is costing us our treasure and our blood", and preventing him from achieving victory in Iraq and Afghanistan.
They don't call him "General Betray-Us" for nothing.
