Title: How much information is there on Galid Shalit?

I have received  requests from  Jewish Philly.org to write Gilad's parents Noam and Aviva Shalit which I will gladly do and have emailed the Red Cross to demand his release after 4 years of captivity.   Does Chaim or anyone really know the Status of Gilad.  I pray that he is still alive and has done well in captivity due to his prayers and connection to the almighty.   I hope there is more done to demand his release.

I have heard that the place where he is held is boobytrapped, so in case of a resque-attempt the place will go sky high. Whether this is true I don't know.
