Title: Did anyone buy futures in oil? Don't know much about it myself.

What attack ?

I don't recommend anyone who is not a professional to invest in futures, options, all sort of derivatives. If you think oil is going to go "through the roof" a safer bet would be to buy Energy stock. You see if you are wrong, the money you put on futures is an irredeemable loss. But the oil and gas companies would live on, they will continue to print money as long as we need fossil fuels. Even BP is going to survive the Deep Horizon oil spill.
