The Legislative Bill which was approved by the Lower Chamber in Argentina and allowed gay marriage and adoption was rejected by an Upper Chamber Comission today. The final votation is to be held on July 14th. However, having been rejected by a comission, decreases the chances of it being encated as law.

According to the latests news, the Upper Chamber is inclined to defineltly reject the project. They aim to approve another bill of civil union which would allow any single citizen, regardless of sex, to have a treaty to share social security and inherit one another but it will have a special clause forbidding adoption or in vitro fertilzation treatments to same sex couples.
Another news is that a survey shows 68% of the population was in favour of gay marriage and adoption. If we consider that gays are, at most, 6% of the populationand not even all of them supported that bill, we have that most promoters of that project were straight. It's the leftist agenda and brainwashing which weighs in the issue, not the sexual orientation of a minority.
