I am a Catholic.
I've been working with JTF since before this board existed - more than 10 years now. I run JTFarchive.org (http://www.jtfarchive.org), through which members can access more than 800 shows going back nearly 10 years. So far this year I've served up more than 2 million pages on jtfarchive.org, averaging nearly 1GB a day - often 10-20,000 shows per day. I pay for the web hosting and bandwidth out of my own pocket to help the cause. It has not cost JTF one penny.
Catholics have been involved in JTF since before this board existed. Go back and listen to the terrified shows by Sean Reilly and others.
It saddens me when people post stuff in the forum bashing the Catholic church or Catholics. I personally do not whitewash anything the Church did in the past. And I certainly will state that for every liberal self-hating Jew, there is a liberal socialist hippie Catholic (or ten) who wants to sing kum-by-yah while a Muslim holds a scimitar at his throat.
However...what is the purpose of these threads? Chaim has stated that Catholics are welcome and has given many examples of working with Catholics in the past. These threads do not help the movement. Please, people, always ask yourself: "does what I'm posting help the movement?"
We have many fundamentalist Christians in the movement. I don't necessarily see eye-to-eye with them theologically, but the importance of JTF's success is much, much bigger than these differences. I honor and respect all who work for JTF.
Let's focus on saving Israel and America and worry about our differences once that's accomplished.

That's incredible. Great work!

You make very good points.

One of my non-Jewish relatives was Catholic and we loved each other even though we obviously disagreed strongly about certain views. But she had nothing against me being who I am, and unfortunately I can't say the same for some of my Jewish family members. It just goes to show you cannot judge people on labels or on group identification or whatever. Give people a chance.

I have had many Catholic and former Catholic friends over the years.

Thank you very much for the JTF Archive. I've enjoyed listening to old shows before :)
It's a great resource of Kahanist/right wing commentary.
Also I agree with your point that people should ask before they post something if it helps the movement or not.

WCJTF, you are a great member and you have done so much for this movement.

I'm going to take this opportunity to thank you, as well, for all your hard work, WestCoastJTF.

I have many friends who happen to be Catholic. Both here and outside the forum.

Well said WCJTF!!! Thanks for everything you've done.

I am related to Catholics through marriage whom I love as my own. The question should be why do people keep recreating threads over an issue that is well known and is being dealt with by Chaim. If you think someoe is over the line and they dont respond to logic, dont answer by drawing more attention to it. FLAG IT! If someone is against the Church's political policies and aspects of their history, then this should not be seen as being against Catholics as individuals. I have no idea what prompted a member to set up yet another entire thread based on this same old revisited idea that some people here would justify hating all Catholics. There seems to be a cadre of people on this forum who spend most of their day in a state of hatred, with other members encouraging them to feel good about their poison. Catholics are actually quite low on that totem pole. I read Muman's responses carefully and people are reacting to him, just to react to him..which is completely obnoxious and has nothing to do with anything he is ACTUALLY WRITING >:(
Incidently, West Coast, YOU are responsible for helping to edcate me re: JTF. Without your website, I would not know even a fraction of what I know now. Thank you for your time and the way you clearly give of all aspects of yourself to JTF
