Charges of attacking a police offer against right wing activist Noam Federman were dropped Thursday. As there was no representative of the state to present arguments against Federman due to the state attorneys' strike, the court dismissed the case.

Commenting after the dismissal, Federman said that the reason he was in court in the first place was due to a decision by police to turn the case into a “flagship” one, to show how the police deal with “violent settler supporters.” However, due to the strike, the plan backfired. He added, however, that the court had already criticized the manner in which the police pushed the case into court, and that he probably would have been exonerated, even without the strike.

Noam Federman should sue the tuchis off this prosecutor.

I believe Noam is an amateur lawyer and could probably do just that although I am sure the system is rigged against any such attempt.
