Very cool video, it must have been great to see it in person for the people at that carnival.

It is even more fun (and more useful !) to practice. Krav Maga is a simple and very effective self-defence and close combat method, based on the spontaneous responses of the human body. What these guys do is not very advanced, you can start most of these techniques relatively quickly. It will make you much more self-confident. If you're correctly supervised, it's pretty safe.
If you like watching this, take a look at Roy Elghanayan, an Israeli master mixing Krav Maga and Jiu Jitsu :

True. In my opinion, when it comes to close combat on the ground (grappling), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is still the best. By the way, most grappling techniques in Krav Maga are derived from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, although Krav Maga adds some specific ones, allowing to target zones that are forbidden in Jiu Jitsu (nothing is forbidden in KM since it is supposed to be a fight for your life).
