Engineer Su Song of Kaifeng, a Jew?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Su_Song
It is known that some of the lost tribe lived in Kaifeng when they were scattered around the world.
Also, his thinking seems to resemble that of a Jew. And look at the dates. It would make sense; its after they've settled in and blended in and got comfortable.
Just my opinion.

I read that he was born in Fujian which is quite a distance from Keifeng, so that decreases the chance he is descended from Keifeng Jews.

No one can say with any degree of certainty precisely when Jews first set foot on the soil of China. Numerous theories have been proposed that place them there, either as travelers or as settlers, at varying intervals within a time-span beginning shortly before the birth of Moses and extending several hundred years beyond that.

Are we talking about Noonian Soong?

Sorry for the OT content but I just discovered that Brent Spiner, who played Noonian Soong (more well known as Data) was raised Jewish (whatever that means)..

Are you playing with me? Noonian Soong, the inventor of Data the andriod on Star Trek TNG...
I have strains of Trekkie in my blood... Star Trek is partly responsible for my interest in computers and technology.

No. I never knew who he is. I've watched star trek.
There are, however, Jews named Susong.
