A member of the Jewish Division this week decided to link herself with terrorist organisation JTF (Jewish Task Force). This was the decision and wishes of one single individual within the EDL, and does not in any way shape or form mean that the EDL is linked with this movement. We would like to make it clear that the decision to release a statement of this fact was done so without any consultation or agreement with anyone in the EDL leadership team.
The EDL will never be associated with something that it was formed and exists to combat and eradicate: ‘TERRORISM’. We hope all our members understand and realise this.
The EDL will now hold further discussions with the Jewish Division of the English Defence League based in England, and if they continue with their plans to forge links with the terrorist JTF, then the EDL will have no option but to sever its links with the Jewish Division, as we cannot support terrorist sympathisers.

You see Tommy Robinson has ties to the Canadian JDL who hates JTF no doubt he took Meir Weinsteins poor Judgment to disassociate the EDL from JTF

I am not so sure about this group anymore... They seem to be very uninformed and lack backbone.... They post a statement like that and sign it EDL Leadership...I think if anything JTF should be concerned about working together with the EDL ...

And after more carefully reading the announcement, I have to say I noticed several curiosities. There are no names behind the text, only "EDL Leadership". What kind of leaders are they if they don't even put their names behind their words. They rush to call JTF terrorists, but on the same time they say they cooperate with the JDL. Any so called terrorist acts they might accuse JTF of, had actually been sanctioned and committed by the JDL when Chaim was the chairman of the JDL and of course Rabbi Kahane the founder of the JDL supported the campaign to free the Jews from the USSR. Also there is this paragraph that makes little sense:

Clearly Roberta Moore has already expressed her sympathies to the "terrorist organisation" JTF. So what's left to discuss ? If they think she supports terrorists, they must ban her immediately or they make even a bigger joke of themselves. What if they have a member who expresses sympathies to Hezbullah, are they going to negotiate terms with him too ? Only nebich losers negotiate with terrorists.

Exactly, what I was thinking. The gutless leaders of EDL. Afraid to sign their name to a letter like that. hahaha

Anyone who does not get out there to protest and rally and get's his face out there really has nothing to say against the EDL.

It's not a question of bashing its just an observation of the facts... The EDL was quick to label JTF a terrorist group.... The Jewish membership block the EDL plans to question about JTF really should consider if the EDL meets their needs and not allow the EDL leadership dictate terms of membership to them... JTF is an up front operation Chaim has plainly stated we are a law abiding organization... For the EDL to plant a label like that on JTF without reason is really going too far...

The Jewish Division should excise itself from EDL in protest and work with us instead!
And how ironic considering EDL is aligned with the politically correct "jdl canada" when JDL IS actually listed by the US govt as a terrorist group! :o
