Do you consider "Captain Kirk" a Jew? You know, William Shatner.
He's had four wives. None Jewish. So he doesn't seem to even want to be Jewish. Too bad.

He can't sing and he can barely act, so no! :::D Seriously, does HE consider himself Jewish? THAT is the most important thing. imo If it's just Hollywood lip service, then who cares! imo

Yes William Shatner is Jewish...
So is Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy....
Leonard is somewhat controversial... But he is the reason that the vulcan hand-sign is very similar to the hand-position used by the Kohen Gadol during the priestly blessing.

In the mid-1960s, actor Leonard Nimoy, who was raised in a traditional Jewish home, used a single-handed version of this gesture to create the Vulcan Hand Salute for his character, Spock, on Star Trek. He has explained that while attending Orthodox services as a child, he peeked from under his father's tallit and saw the gesture; many years later, when introducing the character of Mr. Spock, he and series creator Gene Roddenberry thought a physical component should accompany the verbal "Live long and prosper" greeting. The Jewish priestly gesture looked sufficiently alien and mysterious, and became part of Star Trek lore.[6]

Does he consider himself a Jew ? I know Leonard Nemoy admits he's Jewish, but that's as far as being Jewish means to him.

Actually Nimoy has worked on quite a few good Jewish projects... I believe his voice is used in several Jewish documentaries and I believe he has worked with Rabbi Berel Wein in producing Jewish history documentaries.

Jewish Radio Theater presents
The Mysterious Golem
with Leonard Nimoy and Gideon Zinger as the Maharal
Released by JRT Records in 1982 (“The producers request that this record rest on Shabbat and Yom Tov”), this is one of my prize finds from the WFMU record fair. Nimoy plays Rav Katz, the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehuda Loewe, creator of the Golem. Rav Katz (with a Spock accent) narrates to his son Chaim (with a Brooklyn accent) the story of the Jews’ persecution in Prague, and Loewe’s efforts, with a little Kabbalistic ritual and luck (and an Eastern European accent), to bring about a force that will rid the Jews of blood libels conducted by some non-Jewish residents of Prague (with Cockney accents, naturally).
The back cover states that this album was recorded in Hollywood (Nimoy), Israel (Zinger, Czech-Israeli actor), and New York (Chaim?).
