If you consider Bukharian Jews (those from Uzbekistan and sorrounding areas) rare, then I don't know how they managed to make up 50% of all Jews living in Queens, NY.

(never was thought to be spanish , becuase im light skinned.)

Even Rav Kahane was part Sfardic.
Really? Didn't know that. I'm pretty sure he always considered himself to be Ashkenazic, though. Not that it matters. A hero is a hero...

Half Mizrachi/Half Ashkenaz, like Chaim and Rav Kahane Z'tl!

Neat BabylonianJew. One of my sister's good friends is an Iraqi Jew. Her mother lived in the same village as Saddam Hussein did, back when he was a poor little orphan boy. People in her high school called her "arab girl." Hehe

I'm pretty much as far a jew can get from Mizrahi jews.
I'm Hungarian, Polish, Litvac, and I guess a bit Russian some how.
In regards to the Uzbeki jews, in israel there are many, though most of them consider
themselves bukharian.
Some of them are very successful. The biggest example is Lev Leviev, the wealthiest persone in
Israel.
