The Iranians are not Arabs: they aremore cunning and even more  dim - and therefore even more dangerous!

I don't understand your final statement here... Usually when one is cunning one is not dim, they seem to be mutually exclusive. Maybe you meant something other than 'dim' or didn't know what it means...

PS: I understand based on a second definition of 'cunning'... Besides meaning clever {which would be mutually exclusive with dim} it also means 'crafty' and 'deceitful'... I must assume that is the definition you intended.
