Most of you were very unhappy with George Bush Jr. So you should all be unhappy with Perry.
They have a lot of similarities in style.
Perry took over for Bush as governor of Texas after the 2000 election.
Perry talks like he's not part of the Republican establishment. Bush talked similarly when he ran in 2000.
Perry panders to illegal alien groups, so does Bush.
Perry has pandered to Islamic groups, so has Bush. Perry probably supports a Mosque at "Ground Zero"; there were some rumors in the media that Bush supports it.
When Bush was still the president, he was secretly negotiating an expansion of NAFTA--involving Texas-- and possibly a "North American Union." Perry never criticized it.
When Bush was president, did you ever hear Perry criticize him?
Perry recently held a prayer session because he wants to fool conservatives into supporting him. During the 2000 campaign, Bush talked to Republican voters about prayer and fooled many of them into thinking he would be different than the establishment Republicans of the past.
Perry began to try to sound like very conservative only Kay Bailey Hutchison decided to challenge him in a primary for governor of Texas.

Who would you rather have though, another Bush, or Obama for a second term?

It was obvious that people were beginning to think like that.
By the end of 09 or early 2010, there were rumors of some billboards across the US of a photo of Bush and it said "Miss me yet?"
People shouldn't have an attitude of voting for the candidate who is "not as bad" as another candidate. No, you should support a candidate who you think would do a good job.

I was not so unhappy under bush compared to obama... I would take Bush any day... My personal worth was 100x what it is today during the Bush years...

I will be happier with a pet rock than I am now.

We could at least hope Rick Perry is fiscally responsible and generally would have a sane economic policy.

We may even get more results with the pet rock then we are getting from this administration. :::D

I know most people here would disagree but I actually liked GWB... His policy was a bit liberal however I don't think he had the evil intent this president seems to harbor.
Sounds like you don't care for our shvartza Presidents spread the wealth policies... The trouble is I think its more destroy the wealth rather then spreading it around.

No surprise considering the fact that Rick Perry is Al Gore's former Presidential Campaign Chairman

Perry supported Al Gore in the 1988 Democratic presidential primaries as chairman of the Gore campaign in Texas

I don't think George Bush hates America. We know Barack Hussein Obama does.
