Hi folks,
I had my computer remotely fixed by dell and it works great except one thing. However, in google chrome, I can no longer see certain kinds of graphics, like I see only three of the above emoticons, the others are square boxes with 3 differently colored pixels (green on top, red on the left, and blue). The little square box is maybe 1/2 cm X 1/2 cm. When I go to the jtf page where you have to click on English or Hebrew, I no longer see the icon for the English forum. Today, I dont see the picture on google.com.
I cannot stand the idea of calling dell again and being on the phone for three hours. BY the way, on internet explorer, everything is there, no problems
Can anyone please tell me what to do?
Thanks

Start using Mozilla Firefox!

Do you know how to fix the problem?

Who'd use google chrome?
If you must have something like that try Iron Browser, which is an open source clone of chrome without the google big brother privacy issues.
Failing that theres firefox.
Try it out in different browsers and see if the problem repeats.

Do you have any Chrome extensions installed? Have you tried it on firefox? have you checked your privacy settings? http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=114662

I really don't use anything but the Mozilla Firefox and have never had a problem... I have been using it since it first came out many years ago... I am sure there are others here that might be better at helping you get the Chrome working I really don't know much about that... Try the Firefox... The new edition is not as good as the earlier ones but it is still better than Explorer and some of the others.

I actually started using Chrome on my home system recently. For the most part I am happy with it... But I am currently using Firefox 5.0... Even though Firefox wants me to upgrade to 6.0...

Stick with the 5.0 for now I wish I did... The 6.0 is ok but the new format is annoying... The 6.0 also seems to have some quirks that crop up from time to time however it is still far better then Explorer.

You can reinstall google chrome if you'd like - now that you've deleted it.
I don't use chrome. I don't trust google.

I dont Blame you. Today I couldn't remember my password and they were asking me to give my phone number for additional identification, should I lose my password in the future. That's a little much

Opera is a great browser as well.

I love Chrome, its so darn smooth and quick. But not as flexible as firefox.

Why is firefox going from 2 to 3 ... to 6 in one breath? By the end of the year we'll have firefox 9.

I guess the different formats Explorer, Mozilla Google are all pushing to be the one with the best features... What I liked about Mozilla in its early form was just the simplicity of the entire thing.
