I wonder why a Jew like Eric Cantor wants to live in the Ga lute when he can live in the beautiful land of Israel.

Probably the same reason why most of the people on this forum don't go there.

I think once people pass a certain age the relocation to a new country becomes very hard... Israel needs young idealistic people who will work to make the place a true Jewish State... People like Cantor are set in their ways and they would most likely not be beneficial to any sort of pro Jewish movement in Israel... In his present position he would be better utilized here in America if he only has the right mindset on the issues involving Israel.
