Title: AskJTF how temporary is temporary
Post by: BritishSword on November 22, 2011, 11:46:46 AM
I hope this stalling of AskJTF doesn't last too long.

I'm having withdrawal symptoms already.

I'm sure Chaim knows what hes doing and we need to concentrate on videos at this particular time, to get people to join, to make people aware of the election situation etc.

Still, its not the same. AskJTF has the feel of a cosy fireside chat.
And who would respond to the muslimbeciles that irishzionist brings every week?

Where to get the dvar torah?

Not to mention just the broad spectrum it covers.

Yes indeed, I am hoping the temporary is very temporary.

Who knows even though I am not trying to disparage anyone though I have noticed that sometimes ASK JTF shows have been often times watered down with some stupid repetitive questions thought there have still been some very good questions.

I will dearly miss the show, however if it's for the benefit of the movement then so be it.

Chaim is incredibly talented as a broadcaster. For me, Chaim's show is many times more interesting and entertaining then Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck. In terms of radio talent and charisma, Chaim should be on national radio head to head vs Limbaugh, Beck et. al.

We will survive. I surely looked forward to listening every Sunday night. It will be strange to not have it this weekend. But we will move forward and try to get Chaim to do more videos and eventually he may return to answering questions.

I think the videos will gain us many new members. Let's just hope we can keep those members that they attract. If anyone has the time then other JTFers can do radio shows too. At least four other members have made radio shows for JTF before, not always in the Ask format. I don't really have time to put anything together right now but perhaps in the future I could do a 15 minute segment or something like that. If anyone else has any good ideas or just a topic they would like to speak about they could also make their own audios and videos.

I'm hoping David Ben Moshe will get involved and help Chaim make new videos.

I think that's something we'll have to enjoy from the past.

You can still do JTF videos in Arizona.

Like what?

It's been a couple of months since I talked to them (I wanted to more frequently but haven't really had time to leave AIM on) but I know they were on Pal Talk fairly regularly and Paulette has a good blog.

Chaim has made his decision. He is doing what he sincerely feels is best for the movement. Why can't we all just accept that?

You're right. I enjoyed the show every week for as long as I've been here and I always looked forward to listening to it whether I had asked a question or not that week. It was always interesting and fun.

However I think that these kinds of decisions aren't made lightly and I agree with you that we should trust that this is a good decision for now and see what it does for the forum.

I understand what your saying and would like to congratulate Dr. Dan though I think were getting off topic.
