Newt Gingrich is probably the worst possible candidate, excluding Ron Paul.

gingrich just got endorsed by a big union leader in new hampshire.   Why would a republican candidate seek union leaders' endorsements in the first place?   The Big Unions are Big Dem Outfits.

LOL forgive me for laughing but the Union Leader is a conservative newspaper in New Hampshire.

True enough,  however as bad as he would be Newt would still be far better than what we are dealing with now...
