Title: Is Christopher Hitchens burning in Gehinnom yet?

I don't know how long such a heretic and G-d hater like Hitchens will have to spend in purgatory but it must be a lot... He died today after succumbing to cancer...

What is your opinion?

Although he was misguided, I kinda liked the guy.  Sad to see him go.

Don't you think he misled a lot of people into not believing in the Creator?

Nah. 

I guess it's possible, but I don't think people are convinced by his work one way or the other.  His fans read it cause they are already atheists and he's preaching to the choir, and his opponents read it cause they hate him or hate what he says and then they criticize it or come up with reasons why he's wrong.    I'm pretty sure people have their convictions and books like his are just reinforcing them either way.

What a sad waste of life and what a messed-up guy.

Despite the atheism, this guy really did seem to have some common sense and knew the truth about Sh*tlam. Then again, he was a BHO supporter.

No!!  Come on.  Give him some slack.  All God fearing people at some time in their lives question the existence of God, even if they eventually decide to become believers .  He had some cogent and logical reasons why he was a nonbeliever.  If you believe in God, you had to come to terms with his arguments.  He made you think.

i don't mind the anti-theism much, but he was an anti-zionist, which is horrible.

He also talked smack against Judaism and the Maccabees. Burning in Gehennim or just plainly karet and non-existing liek he himself was predicting for himself.
