Mitt Romney cruised to victory in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday night, improving on his first-place finish in last week's Iowa caucuses and firmly establishing himself as the man to beat for the Republican presidential nomination.
"Tonight we made history," Romney told cheering supporters before pivoting to a stinging denunciation of President Barack Obama. "The middle class has been crushed," he said, "our debt is too high and our opportunities too few" - remarks that made clear he intends to be viewed as the nominee in waiting after only two contests.
His rivals said otherwise, looking ahead to South Carolina on Jan. 21 as their best chance to stop the former Massachusetts governor.
Even so, the order of finish - Ron Paul second, followed by Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum - scrambled the field and prolonging the other contenders' increasingly desperate competition to emerge as the true conservative rival to Romney.
MITT 37% RON 24% JON 17% NEWT 10% RICK 10%...
Absent some scandal for Mitt, it looks like he will be the GOP nominee. It also seems Mitt and Ron Paul have some sort of agreement not to attack each other. Also it seems Mitt wants to attract Ron Paul supporters, or at least not offend them because the GOP now has proportional representation, meaning that Ron Paul supporters will be a big force at the GOP convention in August.

Mitt has never attacked Paul... and honestly.. he hasn't attacked anyone since it became clear that he would be the nominee after Newt fell out of favor.
The other candidates WANT the Paulestenian vote to stay in the GOP... because they are seeing more and more that many Paultards may vote for Obama. Its a really strange predicament. Also, they are terrified by the possibility that Paul may do a 3rd party run which would ensure Obama's second term so they don't want to anger him...
SO far only bachman... who left the race.. has legitimately attacked Paul.

I prefer Paul run as a third party since his supporters are Obama supporters anyway. The votes would be taken away from Obama.
Perty, newt, or santorum should drop out so one non romney candidate could have a chance.
Otherwise it will be romney and if it is, he has my full support

Heil Ronny Paul?
How could anyone vote for that chicken killer?

Another benefit to Ron Paul running as a 3rd Party Candidate is it would severely damage Rand Paul's chances of becoming the Republican Nominee for President in the future.

Ron Paul bears a striking resemblance to this guy (Marshal Applewhite of Heavens Gate fame):

Paul and the Heaven's Gate guy both look equally confused. Both also have zombiefied followers.
I wonder if Paul will catch up with the mothership soon as well.
