Title: No more audio on jtf.org?
Post by: WestCoastJTF on June 20, 2007, 02:52:28 PM
I've been out of the loop dealing with some personal stuff for the last month, so forgive me if this has already been discussed...

Is the audio portion of the QPTV shows no longer being put on the JTF.ORG web site?

The usual links don't work:

....????

Does that mean JTF.ORG is off the air on QPTV?

There are links to YouTube, but of course you can't download that and save it.  If this is the new policy, then the jtfarchive.org is not going to have anything after 6/13/07.

I for one enjoyed downloading the mp3s every week and listening to them in my car during my commute...can't do that with YouTube.

Again, if I missed a big announcement (likely) just point me at it.

Thanks,

-WestCoastJTF

Or http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php (http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php) - or if you have Firefox you can install their extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/ (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/).

Nice, but not really practical for automated scripting.  I'm not organized enough to remember to do it every week - which is why I was saving the files and updating the site via perl script and cron ;-)

Was there an announcement I missed?

There are no more QPTV shows and these have been replaced by Chaim's YouTube service.

Yes, you're correct - the "c" show will still be archived.
