Wow, Newt must of pissed her off royally at some point.  It seemed to me from her reaction that she feels Newt has political enemies that will get really dirty to see him off the ticket.

The scuttlebutt is Pelosi has toxic inside information from Newts conflict of interests hearings... The thing is this is sealed information that should not be disclosed to outsiders... If Newt thinks that this stuff is staying sealed come November he has another guess coming... The Republicans should evaluate the situation with Newt and cut their losses now if they deem the situation hopeless.

I tend to think it's a little of both.  She probably has some information which is not nearly as explosive as she's making it out to be, and she is also trying to spook republicans into nominating romney.
