Chicago, IL - An Uptown synagogue with a congregation primarily comprised of seniors and immigrants from the former Soviet Union was robbed of computers, audio-visual equipment and donated food.
According to Agudas Achim North Shore Congregation, at 5029 N. Kenmore Ave., a neighbor "noticed a well-dressed man standing by the synagogue. She confronted him and was told he was waiting for Rabbi [Philip] Lefkowitz, as he had an appointment with him." However, the Rabbi and his family were at home.
The man turned out, apparently, to be a burglar, who, over the course of several hours, robbed the Synagogue. He removed all the various components of the Synagogue's audio-visual and microphone system, as well as computers and screens. Additionally he made off with a great deal of food donated to the congregation by the Chicago Maot Chitim Campaign (Passover Charitable Fund) to provide for the dinners and kiddush for the congregation.
The synagogue is now seeking support to purchase a new audio-visual and microphone system, the release says. [cbs2]

Stealing donated food for kiddush! What type of animal is this? This is such a low and sickening level of depravity. This man needs to be caught! If the Soviet Jews immigrated to Israel instead of Chi-town, they wouldn't have to worry about disgusting acts like this. I think I'm going to donate some money to the congregation.

This isn't the only incident at this particular synagogue. These poor people. This further accentuates the reason for ALL JEWS to come to their only home.
CHICAGO, IL, February 13, 2006 ... The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today decried the vandalism of an Uptown Chicago synagogue, which was discovered this morning. Agudas Achim North Shore Congregation was defaced with swastikas and anti-Semitic writings.
Lonnie Nasatir, Director of ADL's Greater Chicago/Upper Midwest Office, issued the following statement:
The Anti-Defamation League condemns in the strongest terms the anti-Semitic vandalism of Agudas Achim. Such hate has no place here in Chicago and runs counter to our city's values of acceptance and respect for differences.
We know that Chicago Police are properly investigating this incident as a hate crime. We encourage anyone with information about this vandalism to come forward.
ADL has been in contact with Rabbi Philip Lefkowitz of Agudas Achim and with the Chicago Police regarding this incident. Nasatir also encouraged Jewish institutions to consult ADL's Security Awareness information, available at www.adl.org/security.
The vandalism of Agudas Achim is the fourth incident of anti-Semitic vandalism in Greater Chicago since the beginning of the year. In separate incidents in January, anti-Semitic graffiti was found at Northwestern University, the University of Chicago and in Blue Island.

I heard from some friends in Chicago that anti-Semitism is getting worse and worse there.
This robbery may not have been about money, it may have been to steal vital items from Jews.

These phonies should shut the F up. Everybody knows the ADL doesn't care one iota for Jews here or anywhere else in the world. They want Israeli Jews to surrender their birthright to the Muslim Nazis and American Jews to be disarmed by gun confiscation.
