Well, Assad is hanging on barely by a thread.  You never know what these maniacs will do when they are on their last leg.  I wouldn't put it past him to fire off chemical weapons on Israel- God Forbid it!  I think Israel would level Damascus if they did that.   There would be nothing left of Damascus.
