I've been reading a lot of history lately, and I can't seem to find anything particularly good or bad on Golda Meir. Anybody want to educate me?

Can't really help you Mo.... But in one of the videos I posted about the Chabad Rebbes Zionist ideals a story is related concerning Golda Meir relating a story about the Jewish underground in the soviet union...

1. Golda Meir was part of the Bolshevik establishment leadership in the 1940s. She publicly urged Jews to inform on Jewish underground freedom-fighters from the Irgun Tzvai Leumi and to persecute these Jewish heroes in every way possible.
2. Golda was part of the Jewish Agency-Haganah leadership that collaborated with the Judenrat and the Nazis in Hungary (read the book "Perfidy"). These traitors also helped the British keep Jews who were trying to escape from Nazi-occupied Europe out of the land of Israel. Why? Because many of these Jews were religious and nationalistic and would never have voted for the socialist establishment leaders.
3. Golda was part of the Ben Gurion-Mapai leadership that stole Torah Jewish values from the Sephardi Jews and kidnapped 10,000 Jewish babies from Yemen.
4. Golda was the Israeli ambassador to the Soviet Union when Jews were held hostage behind the Iron Curtain. Golda did everything possible to undermine any attempt to free the Soviet Jews.
5. As prime minister, Golda knowingly allowed Egypt and Syria to attack Israel on Yom Kippur in 1973 causing the death of nearly 3000 Jewish soldiers and severely harming Israel afterward.
I could go on and on.
The Jews in America literally worshipped Golda. As our great leader Rabbi Meir Kahane zt"l used to say, in Sinai the Jews worshipped the Golden Calf, but in America they worshipped the Golda Calf.

Wow. Thanks Chaim. I also read that she messed up the Munich hostage situation, though I think all involved were at fault. The media portrayed her as a sweet old lady. I hope she's burning somewhere.
