Let's not hate Lincoln too much, he was a tyrant because he wanted to conquer the South, but he only wanted to save America. Although I am pro-south, long live CSA!

I say I want to help people at my telemarketing job, and tell them that, but words from people that control you hold no more than their weight in dust (although him saying the black people had nothing to do with the war is worth something today). If by save America you mean destroy state power and give it to Washington, Obama saved us from ruin.

I am very sad about that. Federation is what destroyed state power, now the states are just as provinces in any other country, just pieces of land with some autonomy. In fact I do not see any difference from my home country, Romania, with the provinces there. Confederation would have kept state power.

Oh. Well, good. So then, why exactly does anyone think Lincoln was trying to save the States?
