Title: Baruch Hashem, the first debate is a decisive Romney victory!
Post by: Chaim Ben Pesach on October 03, 2012, 11:14:11 PM

If Romney had lost tonight, the race would have been over. Romney came through with flying colors, baruch Hashem. Obama was terrible, baruch Hashem.

We are back in contention. We now have a chance again at winning this election. But we still have a tough battle ahead with three more debates (two Presidential and one Vice Presidential). Obama will almost certainly be more aggressive in the next debate. So this could be a close election.

But tonight we have every reason to celebrate, baruch Hashem (thank G-d)!

BTW as expected, the extreme leftwing moderator Jim Lehrer of PBS was very biased. He let Obama speak 4 minutes longer than Romney. Lehrer also kept interrupting Romney after only 30 seconds or 60 seconds. Obama was allowed to continue speaking way past the agreed time over and over again.

This just shows how foolish it is to allow these Bolshevik moderators to control the debates. Romney did win big despite the bias, but if Romney had not been winning big, this could have made a difference.

Thank God!   I have renewed hope.

I really get a lot of personal motivation from this.

I am almost through watching the debates on FOX news....

I agree that Romney appeared very good and he did not allow Obama to get away with any tricks or fudging of facts. Let us continue praying that Romney continues his strong campaign against the liar in chief.

  I am very happy with this first debate....  I will admit that at least Romney is a more capable debater than McCain.

I am watching now a rerun. It is obvious Romney is sharper and maintains excellent composure while Obama is struggling and stuttering.

Are the next debates going to be with a crowd ?

That's true, but anybody who wants to win will be a better debater than someone who takes a dive.

Obama's speech was awful. Romney's speech was so much better.

No TelePrompter. No Obama. He was exposed for the fraud he is

He was never a good debater.  If you watch the re runs of the McCain and Clinton debates, you will see he just used his usual 3 or 4 slogans

I like what the Washington Times said;

"Bewildered and lost without his teleprompter, President Obama flailed all around the debate stage last night. He was stuttering, nervous and petulant. It was like he had been called in front of the principal after goofing around for four years and blowing off all his homework."

Obama clearly won when it comes to knowledge about economy. Romney's economic plan sounds great if you do not use numbers or any relevant data. I must say Romney won when it comes to confidence and that is about it. I am sorry to disagree with others but this is the way I see it after listening to the first 24 minutes.

Obama's brilliant incites about economics??   You've got to be kidding.....   I am just going to assume that this is a humor on your part... Kinda like when you said Qaddafi was a great leader.

Romney's proposals are not mathematically possible to achieve. President was 100% correct in his response. They sound great if we disregard modern accounting practices. Name any nation in history of Africa with standard of living equivalent to Lybia's during his years in power?

I really get a lot of personal motivation from this.

I did too.
It was good to see something positive for a REAL change we could believe in.

We cannot just say; "Oh, he did good" then just go on our merry way.

Times are SERIOUS.

I have been in serious prayer over the state of our once great nation.

The shvartza President is clueless when it comes to knowledge about anything other that his golf game and flying around on his plane at taxpayers expense...  He is a tax and spend liberal who's chasing after amounts of money from the so called rich that will have very little impact on the big picture...  Romney is 100% correct...  Allow business to run with less regulation and taxation and business will soon start moving again... America needs to start producing again not turn its dwindling cash over to government for endless make work projects and green energy boondoggles that will soon have every American in the poor house... You needed to listen to more than 24 minutes... Then again anyone that feels that the shvartza President is knowledgeable about the economy has already drank the Administration "Coolaid" and is most likely past hope... The shvartza President showed himself to be the class warfare idiot he has been right along... Sadly for him he did not have the press and his telliprompter to shield him from his own stupidity.

Am I the only one who noticed that cbs coverage of the debate purposely made romney's face blurry and out of focus but obama's faceperfectly clear in the split screen?

I did not notice that with Romney however the angle the camera had on our sitting president sort of distorted his head... Possibly his head is actually shaped that way  :::D  Anyway the TV I was watching it on is actually quite old and the new wide screen formats don't seem to agree with it...  Time for a nice new 60 or 70 inch flat screen TV..  I want to be able to see the plastic surgery scars on the shvartza presidents nose job in the up coming debate :o

Ok Serbian army, are you a friggiin commie or something. Gadaffy duck is a nut, and obama knows enough about the economy to destroy it.
Not called for.

My television happens to be very old.  In fact, it's so old that when I turned on the debate, they showed Nixon and Kennedy.
