Actually  $61,194 used to further enslave dependent democrat voters

and yes, this is per household (at or below poverty) for 2011!!

That couldnt possibly be the yearly cost per household... thats probably the cost per 5 years or something.  Its still way too much though.

There has been a recent report, which I posted the link for, according to which the welfare expense are over $ 1 trillion. There are about 50 million poor (by government definition) in the US. So the per capita spending is about $ 20,000 per poor person and over $ 60,000 per poor household annually.

But due to government inefficiency I suppose at least half the funds at least are wasted on wages for government employees and contractors or by outright theft.

Oh, I misread.  So for the average household that is receiving welfare, that household costs us $60,000

You probably read the post correctly...Actually, I was half asleep and hit POST by accident I think. Anyway, the whole post including the link to the article were absent, I edited it later. So it was my fault, the post was incomplete.
