I lost all faith and hope in democracy
I lost all faith and hope in the human race.
There's my oppinion on the election.

You haven't known until today that there is plenty of Evil in the world ? That people have a free will to chose, and vote, evil ?

I tend to feel like Meerkat right now and, even though I've always believed in what you are saying Hanna, I find myself repeatedly asking why humanity can't seem to ever learn from history. It's like battered woman syndrome on steroids.

Thats NOT the spirit... I do not advise turning your back on humanity. This is the humanity which Hashem has created. This is the humanity which the Torah so obviously demonstrates has foibles and failings. Imagine the story of Creation, the first man and woman disappoint by disobeying the one command they have, their offspring Kayin kills his only brother Hevel, the generation of the flood which robbed and raped, the generation of the Tower which flagrantly violated Hashems will, etc., etc... Humanity was not created perfect. It is our job, as righteous Jews and righteous Gentiles, to bring to this world the G-dly image which we were imbued with.
Mankind has the potential for so much good. You should look around you and acknowledge the good which is in your life. Appreciation is a big part of a Jews prayers, praising and blessing G-d who gives us life. As long as there is breath in your lungs and your heart is pumping warm blood to your limbs you have the potential to turn the world around.
This is my feeling concerning your condition. May you feel better soon..

How do you not loose faith and hope in the aforementioned? Obozo was elected under extreme circumstances in 08 and screwed it up. But how does he win twice? Fail fail fail.

Good, you said how you feel. It is a GOOD thing to express the truth. I agree, but I will cont to fight because Gd made me this way

G-d made the world the way it is... Either you rise to the challenge or you fail.
A real Jew never loses faith that at the end of the day (the end of days) the promises made by our G-d WILL be fulfilled.
