Whilst the lower IDF officer echelons are admirable, the upper are not.

Israeli senior career officers are overfed, overpaid, pot-bellied, oversexed, corrupt, full of sky-high ego, are Leftists, and worst of all are strategical and tactical morons and are bad soldiers giving bad orders.
Against determined Arabs they are useless. Where they brutishly excel is giving orders for Hilltop boys to have their skulls cracked & for Hilltop girls to be strip-searched!

It is poetic justice that the Subbotnik Galant, who was in charge of the Hitnatkut as head of Southern Command in 2005 was barred from the top job of Chief of Staff just because he built a 5 yard extension to his home without permission!

Of course that pledge will not be forthcoming, least of all from the Likud! If Feiglin is a true idealog, this may compel him to leave the Likud.

It's true most of the upper 'echelon' are bolsheviks of the worst kind as a matter of fact one of those guys in the photo looks more like a common street thug then a officer.
