Illegal immigrants. No child wants to grow up to be a maid or potentially picked each day to be a gardener/ renovations worker.
There's nothing wrong with those jobs. It's just that they don't pay a decent wage because of all the illegals flooding the job market. A friend I knew used to make good money cleaning houses.

I'm not so sure about that. There's a lot of foreign-loyal anchor babies here that grow up in California, Texas, etc. and are taught from birth that they are in Mexico and it's their destiny to take this land back for their people. The flood of new immigrants aggravates the problem but then we face the problem of deporting rather than legalizing the ones already here, and then we have a bunch of very legal people who were born here, but aren't loyal to the United States or American culture.

We don't need to deport them if we make it impossible for them to have jobs or health care/housing/education (or require them to pay for them).

I think the real problem are the anchor babies who are now having more American citizen anchor babies with the whole family having the Reconquista mindset and not trying to be American.

And even if they did view themselves as Americans, their extreme cohesion and ethnic nationalism would be a problem just like it currently is with African-Americans in general.

The biggest mistakes this country has ever made were the foreign entanglements tied to getting cheap labor, slavery and importing third worlders for low wages.
