I doubt it's true. First of all, Al-Arabiya is a Saudi owned news source that virulently anti-Iran. Second of all, those Islamists hate the Iranians because they are Shia. They would never have an alliance.

Go to presstv.ir (and Iranian news source) and ull see them accuse Saudi Arabia of funding the very same groups
