I agree.   How does it work and can we do it?   There are some successful youtube channels that make money off pretty simple stuff.   You just need to generate likes and favorites and subscriptions and you can make some money but not sure exactly how it works.

You then get commercials thus more people are likely to close the video's and not watch them. Think about that as well. Only when their are enough people watching on a consistent basis is their a good reason to do this and make good $ for the movement.

True.  These channels seem to develop a following where these people will watch religiously so ads are irrelevant to them because they want/enjoy the content.  A big challenge to us developing a consistent following is that we have our videos launched across many different channels rather than one single channel where fans will subscribe and await new content regularly.  That is probably the biggest stumbling block to JTF monetizing youtube.  But past experience forces us to do it this way as a contingency against nazis flagging our videos and getting a single channel removed from youtube.

What are you talking about?

The only advertising you can get on Youtube is adsense (google).

Its really easy to sign up. You need a real bank account.

You can choose between full ads and little banner ads.

How's it going to make people not watch the videos? Who's not already accustomed to ads on youtube?
