Chaim says Herzl was a self-hating secular kapo.
-
He was a narcissistic egomaniac assimilated socialist. Still he managed to organize the first Jewish congress and the raise allot of funds that did actually help with the aliyah and settlement of the land. In the end it wasn't the diplomatic zionism that re-established Israel but the pioneers who returned to the land and settled and fought for survival and independence.

Chaim is right !

It is no secret that Herzl was not religious. The entire creation of the Jewish state came as a result of the Secular Zionists and not because of the religious. Even the religious Jews who dwelt in the land before the establishment of the state were against the creation of the secular Israeli state for reasons we have discussed previously.

In the end it was Hashem.

I dont think he was that strong in his condemnation of Herzl.
