Title: Turkish protesters.... real reason for protests...... do not want islamization

Is this the real reason for Turkish protests? I have heard it is due to the perception of increased authoritarianism by PM Erdogan.... is this code or PC for islamization?

I have known many Turkish people and none (of the dozen or so I know) have claimed to be muslim.
