A British member of parliament was shot by a hidden camera and told how on a visit to Israel he called an Israeli soldier "a bloody Jew."
The MP, Patrick Mercer, exposed his story unwittingly to a BBC reporter posing as a lobbyist, and the report was aired on Thursday on the Panorama program on the British TV channel.

In the report, Mercer explains that while on a visit to Israel he toured an "intelligence establishment" and ran into a security guard. "An 18-year-old girl, wearing a uniform, with her sort of hair in plaits, and crazy jewelry and open-toed sandals, with a rifle up my nose,” he said.
“Who the f**k are you, you know? ‘Well I’m a soldier.’ Are you? You don’t look like a soldier to me. You look like a bloody Jew."
The BBC joint investigation with the British newspaper the Telegraph into lobbying in British politics revealed Mercer was receiving payments from an interested party – a Fiji Islands lobbyist – to promote bills in parliament.
Due to the report, Mercer resigned from the Conservative Party and stated he will not stand for reelection.
Parliament has opened an investigation into the matter.
