Title: Posts that have disappeared
Post by: jsullivan on October 06, 2006, 04:09:16 PM
Some messages of posters have vanished.  I have no idea what went wrong.  Unfortunately, I am very ignorant about the technical aspects of the forum.  Hopefully, one of the administrators can find out what the problem is.

After 6 PM tonight, the Jewish administrators will not be able to do any computer work because of the Sabbath, and also because of the Jewish holiday of Succot which will not end until Sunday evening.  So let's hope any technical problem can be resolved before then.

We apologize to any posters whose posts disappeared.

JTF's web hosting company experienced some technical difficulties. The JTF counter was also not operating for several hours.

Does this mean that the deleted posts are gone permanently?

Ask JSullivan. I found out from him.

He said to ask you guys because he doesn't know about technical issues.

Did the posts also disappear because of the affirmative action people working for the server?

Possibly.  I was writing about jazz being entertainment and not art.
