Title: This is a non-serious thread about pretend Swedish.
Post by: Binyamin Yisrael on March 08, 2014, 10:31:44 PM
I was watching clips of the Muppets and noticed that the Swedish chef sounded like he was speaking Yiddish. I looked up and it says it's fake. It sounds Hebrew on the one here where he's making salad. It sounded like zeh salat (This is salad.). It could be that the writers were Jewish. I remember in the Borat movie, the "Kazakhstani" parts were actually Hebrew.

Does anyone else think this could be the case?
