Which parasha goes against everything they teach most?

Parshat Pinchas is like Hanukkah. The main theme is fighting against assimilation. If they knew what Hanukkah really was, they would be horrified and be against it.

Yes, that would be like "all of the above" since everything in the Torah was given by G-d on Mount Sinai.

I think the leftist Jews hate the parasha that is read on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur about Avraham kicking out Hagar and Fishmael.

In my 'humble' opinion the hardest command for modern Jews to get their Yiddishe Cup around is the command to eliminate Amalek. Especially considering the oppression the Jewish people have endured, the concept of eradicating an entire people is especially difficult.
