In every generation there is a potential Moshiach ben Yosef who has to be assassinated as a martyr by a gentile.
R.Meir Kahane was the potential MBY of his generation.
And his son of his.
Could Glick be this generation's?!

Refuah shlemah (may there be a complete recovery).
Please say prayers for a refuah shlemah for Yehuda Yehoshua ben Rivka Ita Breindel.

Oh My!
I have been a follower of Rabbi Glick for several years. He is involved with Temple Mount advocacy...

Probably Shabak.

You just made that up.
-
As per Talmud Sukka 52, Pirke d'R.Eliezer, the Kol HaTor and many other sources including R.Kahane's own writings, MBY is assassinated. Just as there is a potential MBD in every generation, so too there is a potential MBY in every generation, who has to die a violent martyr's assassination. Meanwhile R.Glick is still alive at this moment so let's hope he recovers and that his shooter is eliminated.
-
As per Talmud Sukka 52, Pirke d'R.Eliezer, the Kol HaTor and many other sources including R.Kahane's own writings, MBY is assassinated.
But that wasn't what you said.
Just as there is a potential MBD in every generation, so too there is a potential MBY in every generation, who has to die a violent martyr's assassination.
Just as you made this up wholecloth, you make up many things.
Sounds like you are confusing the concept of a "potential moshiach" with an actual one.
I find it very wrong that when a person got injured and is in precarious condition you are speculating about whether he "has to die". Wtf man

May he live. And if Gd forbid he doesn't, may his blood be avenged at every Arab leader who advocates a Palestine.
May all Jews witness the third temple in our lifetime. Amen

This should be the beginning of a war. The dirty arabs think they own our Holy Temple mount. They want to mess with the Jewish soul and there should be a strong show of force against them. If they get away with this they will escalate further against all Jews who support Jewish rights on the Temple mount. Not only rights do I want, but I want 100% Jewish sovereignty on the Holy Temple mount, and no arabs allowed on the entire mount. That piece of dirt Al aqsa can be dismantled and sent to Mecca where it belongs.
Seriously folks... Everyone should be shouting out about this at the Shabbat table this Shabbat. I know I am going to speak up and not fear because I know that this is our land, it is our Temple mount, and the only reason the arabs want it is because they want to desecrate the holiest site to our people. They want us to submit to their false religion and if we do not grow a spine quickly, our special position in Hashems world will be compromised.
Rabbi Yehuda Glick is a caring and warm Jewish soul. I have learned Torah from him from videos produced by the Yeshiva Otniel in Hevron. If the Mitzvah of 'Do not stand idle over your brothers blood' means anything there must be outrage over this horrific event.
Retribution is called for. I do not know what is appropriate but my imagination runs wild with the possibilities.

A gunman on a motorcycle shot U.S.-born activist Rabbi Yehuda Glick in Jerusalem Wednesday and he was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition.
The Jerusalem Post reported that Glick was shot outside a memorial center in the Israeli capital by the motorcycle-riding gunman, who immediately fled the scene.
“Shots were fired and the victim was rushed to an area hospital in serious condition,” police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told The Jersualem Post.
“Special patrol units are searching the area for the suspect and we are investigating the background of the incident.”
A police spokesman who did not wish to be identified confirmed to Fox News that Glick was the victim.
“It was an assassination attempt,” a Jerusalem city official told The Jerusalem Post. “This is very serious.”
Moshe Feiglin, a lawmaker with the Likud party said a man approached Glick outside the conference and spoke to him in "heavy Arabic-accented Hebrew" before opening fire at point-blank range.
Glick is chairman for the Joint Committee of Temple Organizations and has a long history of advocating for Jewish prayer rights at the Temple Mount, a hilltop compound in Jerusalem's Old City that has been a flashpoint for violence in the current tension over Jerusalem. Glick had been speaking on the topic prior to the shooting.
"The writing was on the wall, the ceiling and the windows. Every Jew who goes up to the Temple Mount is a target for violence," said Feiglin, who pledged to visit the sacred site on Thursday morning, a move seen as a provocation by Palestinians.
The shooting threatens to further heighten tensions in Jerusalem, which has been fraught lately with clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli police.
In recent months, clashes have erupted at Jerusalem's most sensitive holy site between Palestinian stone throwers and Israeli police, over what Palestinians see as Jewish encroachment on the site, the holiest in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam. Israel maintains that it allows free prayer to all, but Palestinians claim Israel is unilaterally widening access to accommodate larger numbers of Jewish worshippers.
The violence erupted over the summer after three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped and killed by militants in the West Bank. Jewish extremists retaliated by kidnapping and burning to death a Palestinian teenager in east Jerusalem, sparking violent riots.
The unrest continued throughout the summer after Israel attacked Gaza in response to heavy Hamas rocket fire. The arrival of Jewish nationalists into the heart of an Arab neighborhood, coupled with the clashes at Jerusalem's most sensitive holy site, has further fueled the tensions.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

It looks like they killed the suspected shooter of Rabbi Glick:

Prime Suspect in Glick Shooting Eliminated
Islamic Jihad terrorist believed to have shot Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick eliminated, after resisting arrest.

Security forces killed an Islamic Jihad terrorist, 32 year-old Mu'taz Hijazi of Abu Tor in East Jerusalem, on Thursday morning, suspicion that he was involved in the shooting of Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick.
According to one report, the forces tried to arrest the suspect, but were forced to shoot him after he retaliated violently.
"In a joint operation of the Jerusalem police and the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet), a SWAT team arrived in the Abu Tor neighborhood this morning to arrest a prime suspect... in the shooting incident yesterday against Yehuda Glick," the Jerusalem Police District said Thursday in an official statement.
"With the arrival of SWAT at the home, the suspect began firing shots at soldiers, who returned fire and killed him. Police and Border Patrol forces are deployed in the neighborhood and throughout the city to maintain security."
Glick - who founded and heads the LIBA Initiative for Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount - was shot in the chest on Wednesday night outside the Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem, after the shooter pulled up in a motorcycle or scooter and confirmed his identity before shooting.
He had been speaking, minutes before being shot, at an event for Jewish rights on the Temple Mount that had hosted leading religious figures and MKs. Likud MK Moshe Feiglin with with Glick as he was shot.
The 50 year-old advocate for Jewish rights at Judaism's holiest site is in critical, but stable condition, Sha'arei Tzedek hospital staff stated overnight Wednesday/Thursday. The public has been asked to pray for Yehuda Yehoshua ben Rivka Ita Breindel.
Islamic Jihad has just claimed official responsibility for the attack, as of just before 9:00 am Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Temple Mount remains closed to all visitors - Jewish, Muslim, or otherwise - on Thursday morning, despite rumors to the contrary.
Meanwhile, a large group of Jews are praying for Glick in a vigil outside the Temple Mount - and Likud MK Moshe Feiglin is reportedly attempting to ascend the Mount regardless of the police ban (thusfar unsuccessfully).
-
Your last line show that they are accomplice of the crime, they should open wide to Jews the gate of the Temple mont.
-
Well, what do you expect?? I mean it is illegal for a Jew to pray on the Temple Mount.. That is holy muslim land..
And, of course only Muslims are allowed access to guns in Israel as it is very dangerous to allow some crazy Jew to possess such a weapon.. I mean he may actually go around and start murdering innocent muslims.
Thank G-d Israel has the best interests of Jewish nation in mind..
Am Sweden Chai.. The true ruler of Israel.
-
Some 'innocent' muslims should be shot, IMHO..
-
I am skeptical that this was a garden-variety Muzzrat. I smell the Shabak.

Rabbi Glick is still in serious/critical condition. He should be at the forefront of our mind in our prayers. May he be granted a complete recovery and pick up his mission with even more gusto. The Temple Mount must remain paramount to the Jewish soul, the purpose of Jews in the world to spread the light of Hashem to the people.

There has been an improvement in the condition of leading Jewish Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick, who was shot Wednesday by an Arab would-be assassin.
The Director of General Surgery Unit in Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem, Prof. Petachya Reisman, said that Glick is still not out of danger but improving.
Glick arrived at the hospital in very serious condition after being shot three times near the Begin Center.
He underwent operations for several hours, for injuries in the chest and stomach, and part of his lung was removed. His situation stabilized and he underwent another operation on Thursday.
Security forces killed an Islamic Jihad terrorist, 32 year-old Mu'taz Hijazi of Abu Tor in southern Jerusalem, on Thursday morning, on suspicion that he was the person who shot Glick.
The Jerusalem Magistrate Court decided Thursday, following a session that was attended both by police and parents of the shooter, that the funeral of Mu'taz Hijaz will take place tonight between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., and will be limited to 45 people.
The judge also directed the police to bring the family Hijaz's body at 10:00 p.m., prior to the funeral.

They got the guy, it was a terrorist plot to assassinate Rabbi Glick.. You are looking for conspiracies where it is clear that the muzzies wanted him dead.

Hijazi worked in the kitchen at the Terasa restaurant at the center, which has been frequented by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ther Israeli leaders. The manager at Terasa Wednesday night told the news site that Hijazi was let off work at 9:40 p.m., roughly a half hour before the shooting of Temple Mount activist Yehudah Glick.
His boss told the NRG news website that Hijazi had been working at Terasa for about a year, and said the restaurant was cooperating with the police investigation.
A man identified by Israeli and Palestinian media as Hijazi was killed in a shootout with police in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Abu Tor Thursday morning.
The deputy director of the Begin Heritage Center told NRG that Hijazi worked for a company that contracted for the restaurant.
“We check the workers who come in here, and there are security guards like at every other public institution,” Moshe Foxman said.

It wasn’t clear whether background checks had been run on Hijazi before he was hired. Palestinian sources said that Hijazi served 11 years in Israeli prison for terrorist activity during the Second Intifada, and was released in 2012. He was reported to have originally been sentenced to six years, but was given an additional five after he attacked prison guards.
In a 2012 interview shortly after his release from prison, Hijazi told the Ramallah-based Al-Quds News outlet that “God willing, I’ll be a thorn in the side of the Zionist project of Judaizing Jerusalem.”

More from the Times of Israel post...

Prior to firing at Glick at the end of the Temple Mount conference at the Begin Center on Wednesday night, Hijazi allegedly approached the rabbi, and told him, “Yehuda, I’m sorry, but the things you said hurt me.” Glick asked him what he meant, but the gunman did not respond, instead gunning him down, Channel 2 reported. Glick remained in very serious but stable condition in the hospital late Thursday.
Police cornered Hijazi at his home in Abu Tor, an Arab-Jewish neighborhood that lies on the seam line between East and West Jerusalem, Thursday morning. Israeli authorities said that they attempted to arrest Hijazi on suspicion of shooting Glick four times, but that he opened fire, was shot and killed.
Hijazi’s body was reportedly taken into Israeli custody, and his brother and father were detained by police. According to Palestinian Quds TV, Hijazi’s family said his house would be demolished within 24 hours.

Islamic Jihad and Hamas both praised the shooting of Glick on Thursday. Islamic Jihad spokesperson in Gaza Daud Shihab said that the “radical Zionist” got what was coming to him, and called him one of the most dangerous inciters. Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum praised the “heroic attack” and called on East Jerusalem residents and Palestinians in general to carry out more terrorist attacks against Israel.

I don't think it's unreasonable of CF to suspect shabak involvement in something like this since they routinely persecute the sector he is from. But doesn't seem to be evidence of that and with islamic jihad claiming responsibility it seems pretty straight forward.
And the handlers of this scum obviously targeted Glick because of who he is and they are feeling very threatened by his activism and apparently growing political pull! Its obvious when the guy asked his name first. They assigned him to murder this person. He was a volunteer for shahida.
-
It's very hard for Arabs to acquire weapons and kill religious right-wing Jews... Yeah right!! ::) It's hard for Israeli Jews to acquire weapons and kill Arabs, Yes, indeed! Especially, with the EU rulers watching Israel's every move.. Jewish blood is worthless to them, but Arab blood is precious.
Was the killing of the 8 kids at Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva also a SHabak hit? Obviously Not!
BrennanFan deinitely writes some BS here, but I actually can say it's not so far out of sight, especially since right-wingers are the greatest threat to Netanyahu's claim to power and the fact that Netanyahu and most of the Knesset take orders from UN/EU.
What I am going to say may upset some Jews here where I live, but every Jew needs to be armed with an AK-47, just as every Arab is armed with an AK-47 in Gaza. Israel needs to start being a nation of vigilantes who fight for the cause of Zionism .
After the shooting of this man, they should have decimated several Arab homes as retribution..
I am amazed by how many IDF guys think I am crazy when I suggest that "ordinary citizens" oooohhh, no, should possess semi automatic , magazine fed rifles. They act like I am some crazy nutjob.. Well, Israelis are truly brainwashed from the ground up and just rather play victims than be pro-active about the status quo.
How many more great men like this will be shot by inbred Arab scum until we get the point that its time to start shooting back?
-
Shabak regularly tortures and beats up the Rabbis who are trying to form the Sanhedrin, because then no Jew has the right to listen to the knesset anymore. Shabbak is even more scared of the temple. It seems none of us know, but I wouldn't be surprised if shabbak is doing it again.
-
You have no idea how correct you are. Virtually every Arab household has weapons, illegal of course. The police is generally very forgiving about this, "It's an ethnic thing, for them it's about honor and manhood".
Otherwise the regime here is ever stricter about gun license to civilians. They also revoke existing licenses and confiscate weapons.

I don't rule out that the Fakestinian terror groups are being used by or are collaborating with Shabak. These two-bit sand apes barely know how to use their own explosives. Someone put this savage in the right place and time. Remember what Shabak did with Yigal Amir. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction and we are likely to never get the real, full story from the Bolshevik "Jewish" state.

All muslims should be shot. 'Innocent muslim' is an oxymoron.

The suspected shooter served many years in jail.
Does anyone know if he got out because of a prisoner release deal or did he just finish the time he was sentenced to?
-
According to the hebrew web site: http://www.srugim.co.il/94819-94819 (http://www.srugim.co.il/94819-94819)
there was another Arab terrorist working at the cafeteria in the Menachem Begin Center
that assisted in the assassination attempt. That suspect was recently arrested.

I still don't buy that random Arabs on their own did this, just like I don't buy that HaRav (ztl) was only murdered by Nosair (ysv).

Arab terrorists are responsible for both of those events DBF... Al Queda in the case of Rabbi Kahane, and Hamas in the case of Rabbi Glick.
I don't know what good is done by suggesting a conspiracy. Isn't it clear that the arabs, who have been rioting daily on the mount, would want to kill Temple Mount advocates?

I may have posted this video before but it explains the link from Rabbi Kahanes assassin to the terrorists who carried out 9/11.

Not as much as Nazis of Semitic descent.

Islamic Jihad took responsibility, not hamas.
Of course they would want to kill temple mount advocates, and shabak would probably like them to do so. All too convenient. I wouldn't be shocked if they had help.

Both Hamas and Islamic Jihad applauded and fueled the attack:

http://www.clarionproject.org/news/islamic-jihad-member-shoots-prominent-jewish-activist
Islamic Jihad, Hamas and Fatah praised the shooting Wednesday night in Jerusalem of a prominent Jewish activist, calling the shooter, Moataz Hejazi, a martyr. "We praise his martyrdom that came after a life full of jihad and sacrifice and which responded to the call of holy duty in defending Al-Aqsa mosque," Islamic Jihad said in a statement.

For all we know many of the terror groups could be secretly controlled by Shabak.

I am praying for Yehudi Glick. A great man. You can hear the kindness and love in his voice. He is even kind to those who wish to repress him and harm him. I saw some clips of him walking over to some muslims who were shouting at him and then praying alongside them. The muslims were so impressed with this that they actually shook his hand.
-
That Glick took four 9mm rounds at point blank range in to the chest and is recovering is almost a miracle.
If only that swine Nosair ym"sh had aimed his shot in to R.Kahane's chest and he had recovered, instead of putting his .357 bullet straight in to his holy Torah-filled cranium!
-
Shabak or not, the current Israeli establishment is responsible for this crime as they are for kahane and his son and daughter in law's death. As well as every Israeli who is killed especially on jewish soil.
-
May it be said that Rabbi Yehuda Glick the hero took four for the Temple.

Why are our heroes always taking bullets and being helpless victims, just like the heroes we had in the days of Old Europe? Why cannot our heroes be destroying our enemies and putting bullets into the bodies of Muslims instead of the other way around?
I thought our day of being helpless victims and martyrs was over, I guess not!

He is not a hero for taking the bullet, rather for his non-stop activism for the Temple Mount. His story will certainly inspire others to rise up against the hypocrisy of the Israeli government, and the evil plots of the muslim animalas.

He is a hero for both taking a bullet (bullets actually) and for his activism, bravery and diligence..
IT was sad he had to take a bullet, but he risked his life to save others.. However, I would advocate that our future heroes not be the ones in the hospital or in the body bags, but rather the Islamic snakes be the ones. And, if we must take bullets and be wounded or die, we do so with a gun in our hand fighting the enemy.

A 3rd Temple-pushing Glick on the Knesset floor is going to cause as much a sensation as he did with the Turkish Muslim girls in Istanbul!

If this about Glick is correct, then he's a piece of drek

But he may turn out to be a useful piece of drek!

I haven't heard, is the Rabbi still doing alright? When will these wrongs be righted? I am asking Yeshua to intervene and stop the evil. He has promised to do just that in Ezekiel 39:7 "I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned and the nations will know that I the Lord am the Holy One in Israel. It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord. This is the day I have spoken of. The Nations that were against Israel and her people will be judged by the mighty hand of God!

Ginger Glick's inaugural speech's murky milquetoast hashkofos look like his present in the Knesset is going to be strongly counterproductive to Torah & Kahanism!
