I've been trying out this dirt cheap Win 8.1 tablet that I got at Microcenter for Only $59 in Worthless American Garbage.
So far so good. A few bigs, but hey, its cheap.
Think of it as a shrunken desktop without a mouse and keyboard.
It does have a soft keyboard (fully qwerty). And you can download an opensource touchpad.
It works well for posting on JTF and reading news. It also runs standard windows programs you already have.
